Oman Autism Society is a non-profit civil organization established in 2014. It supports individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families through rehabilitation, awareness, and empowerment programs.

We aim to build a more understanding and inclusive society by working with individuals, families, and institutions.

Our Goals

① Spreading accurate scientific awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder and promoting acceptance of neurodiversity in society.

② Empowering individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developing their skills to support their integration and active participation.

③ Providing psychological and guidance support to families, and equipping them with tools that improve the quality of life for both the family and the individual.

④ Contributing to the support of the service system and building effective partnerships with government entities, the private sector, and civil society.

⑤ Building institutional and volunteer capacities and enhancing staff efficiency to ensure the quality and sustainability of the work.

⑥ Supporting scientific research, building knowledge, and applying it to the development of programs and practices.

⑦ Contributing to the development of policies and the improvement of services related to Autism Spectrum Disorder in ways that support individuals’ quality of life and their inclusion in society.
